Niyaz - Persian and Urdu for "yearning". . . a band comprising of three members, released their new album called Nine Heavens in June 2008. The band is widely known for their south Asian + Middle Eastern flavor. The lady from the band, Azam Ali, apart from being born in Iran, had spent a part of her formative years in India before leaving for US, thus, the Indian influence in terms of language & instruments can be felt. They merge the old and new way of music style.
